Temptation Episode 7

With all my complaints against the show, I keep tuning in for more every Monday and Tuesday. Though the characters continue acting illogically and our main characters have some messed up marriages, I’m just interested to see the outcome of all the betrayals. How is this tangled jumble of people going to end up?
In last night’s episode, Seok-hoon and Se-young have admitted that they liked each other. Se-young initiated the confession and was firmly rejected by Seok-hoon, who said that he still loved his wife despite him liking Se-young. I was honestly surprised at the timely confession because I’m so used to dramas keeping obvious revelations to the last minute possible, leaving the result lacking that extra oomph had it been revealed episodes back.
temp 7 - SS 2

But that’s the only thing that really came pleasantly unexpected. Otherwise, the drama is following age-old cliches to keep the tension going. I mean, there should be a limit to how many times a person rolls his/her eyes an hour, right? The unplanned overnight trip? Check. The innocently-having-fun montage? Check. The dramatic ripping-the-photo-of-us-right-in-half-because-I-think-you’re-a-lying-cheating-bastard? Check, check, check.
Besides the overdone tropes which are still more amusing than annoying at this point, there’s the way the conflict between Seok-hoon and Hong-joo is building up.
I realize that Seok-hoon was wrong to accept the offer of a woman who wanted to make him, a married man, her “slave” for three days, but he was desperate and mere days away from being imprisoned on embezzlement charges. That moment of insanity is allowed, all things considered. But Hong-joo made it a matter of betrayal and trust when she was waiting in the lobby of that Hong Kong hotel–earnestly waiting for him to appear. I personally think it wasn’t Se-young’s offer itself that screwed up their marriage, but that single moment when she was waiting for him, believing that he would forget about this crazy offer. And yet he chose Se-young over her.
Maybe if she stayed with him in the hotel and saw for herself that the two were only doing work, things could have been different. Maybe not. Anyway, the way things are, the salvation of what their marriage once used to be seems near-impossible. Although he knew the way Hong-joo was going to take it, he still went to work for Se-young. I understand that he couldn’t find a job at all, but when you have feelings of like for a woman other than your wife and you want to fix your marriage, you should have ran far, far away from that woman–from the temptation. He’s like a moth getting attracted to the fire which will consume him whole.
Then there’s Hong-joo who does not want to keep thinking about whether her husband is cheating on her right this moment. I’ve been trying to sympathize with her the last couple of episodes but she’s not willing to give Seok-hoon any chance. Maybe it’s some sort of inferiority complex, but she believes that she will lose to Se-young. Or she’s trying to shield herself from potential hurt by not even trying to trust her husband.
Come on, you’ve been married to the man for years and you claimed so many times to know him best and you still don’t have the slightest bit of faith in him to believe that he won’t cheat on you? She’s practically throwing her husband at Se-young by pushing him away from her.
A couple of episodes back, she told him that his heart went out to Se-young and his body will follow sooner or later (as in, he’s going to physically cheat on her). At the end of this episode, when she pretty much tried to sell herself for four days to Min-woo, she was like, “Now his body is gone (as in, they’re separated) and his heart will soon follow”. I wanted to shake my fist at the woman. So you want to pettily get back at your husband (who rejected Se-young and did not even touch her) by sleeping with a playboy with a family? Now that you’ve dug your own grave, lie in it. I’m just not all liking her character.
One last thing I want to mention is how much I hate Min-woo’s mom. Do all chaebol moms have to be so awful? As if it’s not enough that Min-woo pays Roy extra attention (which his daughters are jealous of), the grandma also ridiculously dotes on him and treats Min-woo’s other kids like trash just because Roy’s her long-awaited grandson. That mini fight that broke out between the eldest daughter and Roy was long coming. I honestly pity those kids for being brought up in such a dysfunctional family.

Temptation Episode 6

The players take steps towards trying to fix the problems in their lives. While the solutions aren't the most well-advised, efforts are definitely being made. These efforts have taken the story from a mopey stall towards invigorating forward motion.
Seok-hoon has decided to challenge his feelings for his wife Hong-joo and the deliberate temptress Se-young by forcing himself into a position where he sees Se-young everyday . He goes to work for her again under circumstances similar to what put his marriage on the rocks. While the move is logically moronic, story wise it is intriguing to see the turmoil Seok-hoon faces each time he sees Se-young or receives a call or text from Hong-joo.
Hong-joo is an interesting case because she blames Seok-hoon for all of their problems, but takes no responsibility herself. While Seok-hoon does shoulder a hefty part of the blame in the failure of their marriage, Hong-joo never considers her role until Se-young very inappropriately points out her attempted suicide and the pressures that that put on the marriage. She plays the role of the victim who blames and doesn't do much but react to the problems in her life. While Se-young was the catalyst for Hong-joo's marital problems, she is also the catalyst for the change in Hong-joo. Hong-joo is now actively trying to solve problems rather than moping about.
A nice build happened this episode in Min-woo's family. Roy is welcomed only by his grandmother, and essentially shunned by his wife and two older daughters. It is jealousy that fuels Roy's isolation and that is based in his grandmother's favoritism. Now Min-woo has to deal with the suffering he has caused with his cheating and callous attitude towards his wife. He can't just sweep his infidelity and misogynistic behavior under the rug anymore. Hong-joo has pointed out several times that he needs to take responsibility for his actions and this will be a thing he will gradually learn, most likely at his family's expense. While that is tragic, it is wonderful plot stuffs.
As for Se-young, she is an interesting mix of innocent feeling and malicious greed. The burgeoning love (and lust) she feelsfor Seok-hoon is pure. Once she realizes her emotions, however, she systematically plans to act on them, which makes her rather a villainous husband snatcher. Choi Ji-woo plays her in such a way that she is still pitiable despite her morally reprehensible intentions to tempt.
Hong-joo's family is a good addition to the story. I wouldn't mind if they had more screen time. Hong-gyu commiserates with the spoiled Se-jin about being the unfavored children in their respective families. It's a sweet pairing that counters the harsh realities of their siblings' relationships. Hong-joo's father is a sweet, doting man who is perceptive, but not overbearing. It's good to see a solid K-drama parent amongst all the screeching wackos.
There was a distinct change in quality between episodes 5 and 6, which makes me beg for more consistency in the writing. Episode 5 was chock full of set up. While this allowed for episode 6 to reap the benefits, it meant episode 5 was lacking. Hopefully this trend will not continue.

The angst has begun in its fullest glory. Doubts have been seeded and have taken deep root in the hearts of the married couple. Also, affections are given where they shouldn't be given, pulling the couple further apart and making those around them take greater interest in what they shouldn't. The side stories are cute, but not cute enough to dampen the intensity of the angst.

Hong-joo has taken the brunt of the emotional pain as she was betrayed by Seok-hoon . She has compounded it by growing emotionally attached to Min-woo's son, Roy, who has become a surrogate child for her. It's a complex emotional mess that gives very little room for levity. It bogs down the episode and makes it heavy. Not even Hong-gyu's and Se-jin's burgeoning romance is enough to relieve the tension.
From the outside, the marriage's issue is that the communication isn't solid and that there are too many secrets. The truth is told after suspicion has been created, which is the crux of the matter - apologies come too little too late. Another complication is that both Hong-joo and Seok-hoon have emotionally invested in people who can hurt their marriage - Hong-joo in Roy and Seok-hoon in Se-young. What makes the entanglements so interesting is that the viewer can see exactly why things go wrong (as can the characters), but because emotions aren't rational, the characters charge forward onto the wrong paths.

Han Ji-seon, Min-woo's wife, has taken on a larger role. She fights for the rights of her three daughters while Min-woo's mother, who wants a grandson, represses her. The appearance of Roy makes her life more complicated and she takes measures to ensure the financial security of her and her daughters. It morphs her into an evil stepmother, which is a character description I hope she defies in some way. A purely vengeful woman who hates her husband's illegitimate child is a battered subject indeed. Should she grow fond of the child despite her logic, now that would be intriguing.
As for the direction of the show, it spends a lot of time on the brooding, moping, crying, and staring at wedding rings. The pain of the characters is quite obvious without the overindulgence of onscreen tears. Also, the music is quite heavy and overpowering. A lighter hand is needed to really make the pain and angst truly effective.

What is effective is the acting. kwon Sang-woo is a master of the melodrama. He knows how to work his angles in front of the camera to bring out maximum man pain. Choi Ji-woo is charming as the business savvy but romantically ignorant Se-young. She is an endearing actress. Even the young boy who plays Roy, Jo Hwi-joon, is spot on as the motherless child who has latched onto Hong-joo as a surrogate mother.

What "Temptation" needs from now on is to remember not to lose itself in heaviness of the drama. Sitting too long in the pain and angst will drag it down. It needs to keep moving.

Episode 4 of "Temptation" was cyclical. It mirrored episode 3's events in reverse and sported more manipulation and betrayal. The small feelings that were planted have started to grow insidiously like weeds and are affecting decisions. It is a distinct lack of communication that is causing the breakdown of what once were solid relationships and promoting the growth of unhealthy ones.

Seok-hoon and Hong-joo are the main victims of a lack of communication. Each omits the truth to avoid the other's anger, and avoid their feelings. The omissions snowball into outright lies, and the real betrayal begins as lies build upon lies. It is the little things that will break this relationship. If Se-young and Min-woo were no longer involved, the young couple would have a chance to reconcile. Instead, the constant intervention prevents them from focusing on healing.
Seok-hoon is sinking fast. He is inexplicably drawn to Se-young and neglecting Hong-joo because of it. His situation is interesting because Se-young is not only an attractive woman, but she has the power to "save" him from his financial crisis. He postures about not wanting to work for her, but he's slowly caving and opening up to her. Unlike Se-young, he is a man experienced in love and romantic relationships and does know what is happening - he chooses to continue to associate with her anyway. That is his downfall.

The same holds true for Hong-joo. She knows that babysitting Roy is dangerous. Children is a hot topic between her and Seok-hoon because she has miscarried and knows they need medical help to carry to term. Involving herself with Roy, and by proxy, his father Min-woo, is like stepping into an emotional minefield. Like Seok-hoon, she is weakened by what happened in Hong Kong and needing the emotional comfort. Children are a huge comfort in times of duress. She also agrees to friendship with Min-woo, which she knows is not smart. Again, she knows better, but can't seem to help herself.
Minor characters have risen to prominence this week, like Min-woo's suspicious wife, Han Ji-sun (Yoon Ah-jung). Ji-sun knows he's an unfaithful husband and has had him trailed. She has discovered his son, and that he's with another woman. It drags the ignorant Hong-joo into their marital problems and will definitely make life more difficult for innocent little Roy. Ji-sun is an interesting character because she is currently bitter and unlikeable, but it is because Min-woo's mother blames her for having only daughter's instead of a son. It is an immense pressure that has calloused her.

Two siblings, Se-young's sister and Han-joo's brother, have met and are going to be a romantic pairing/obstacle for the main characters in the future. It is a pairing like this that makes me think this world is a bit too small and a bit too full of coincidences. But it is to up the angst factor, which is a key melodramatic component.

The instrumental music in this show is badly mastered and overpowering. It is dramatic to the point of being cheesy. It breaks the mood of the more intense scenes by taking over the scene rather than enhancing it.

"Temptation" needs to be careful in its execution from here on out. It could quickly spiral out of control, or continue to develop the relationship dilemmas with aplomb. It is all up to the writer.

The illicit relationships that were formed in the first week of "Temptation" have now begun to develop at frightening speed. Each character has been hurt and is looking for the comfort and security that they can't find in their spouses, their family, or their work.

Se-young is the only main character of the four who is experiencing her first love. Although she wasn't innocent in offering Seok-hoon a huge sum of money for three days of servitude, the emotions she feels are genuine and innocently begun. Choi Ji-woo does a marvelous job of breaking down the cold business woman who is experiencing the first symptoms of falling in love. What sets her character apart from other such cold chaebol women is that she plays with her burgeoning emotions like a cat would a mouse. She doesn't understand them, so she toys with Seok-hoon in order to better explore them. Also, rather than find solace in her work, work no longer holds the same fascination as love.
The more complicated relationship is with Hong-joo and Roy. While the pairing  in and of itself isn't illicit or wrong, the fact that Hong-joo has placed herself in Min-woo's path is dangerous to her marriage - and she knows it. Although she completely understands why Seok-hoon accepted Se-young's insane proposal, she cannot emotionally cope with it. That is the crux of the matter - the inability to cope with betrayal. Once it happens, realities change for all involved. Laughing with Min-woo isn't cheating to her, but a form of relief. She can smile with another person who appreciates her. It doesn't make drinking wine and smiling with another man correct, but it is so understandable. And that's where melodramas are so fascinating. The issues are sympathetic.

Min-woo is the dirtiest of the main characters. He is a regular cheater and his wife knows it. He is hiding an illegitimate son from his very suspicious wife and falling in love with Hong-joo in the process. He spares no effort to talk with her and her amazing way with his son wins him over further. Min-woo is the character who will be most molded by love. He has done wrong by his family and needs to realize that. Also, he defends his mother against his wife's desire to move out from under his mother's firm grasp, but never spares a thought for his wife's suffering. That is a balance between filial piety, which is very important in Korean culture, and selfishness.
As for Seok-hoon, he has erred, but he is trying with Hong-joo. Unfortunately, the time he spent with Se-young, free of worry, is plaguing him. Again, he seeks what he doesn't have in his wife - freedom from financial burden and the burden of supporting and pleasing. Se-young seeks him out. She wants him. She doesn't run from him. In his situation, that is very appealing.

In terms of the story, it couldn't be more contrived. What makes this story engaging is the fact that the emotions it induces are strong and immediate. Everything is a little too interconnected; there are a few too many coincidences. Like Hong-gyu, Hong-joo's younger brother, happens to get hired by his friend's private detective agency and discovers that she is at Min-woo's vacation home. It's just too coincidental, but the meeting between siblings was worth the coincidence.

While the plot is manipulated for maximum angst, the way that the relationships unfold has been quite logical. As long as the plot doesn't get too twisty for its own good, "Temptation" should be a good watch.

Temptation E02.avi_003136336Temptation is such an easy watch for that I find it peculiar at times, since it deals with a heavy subject: affair. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea but the subject itself is not the only focus in the drama. Humans beings and their boundless minds are among the interesting points that worth the journey. Maybe it’s just me but I like something that makes me think without being too overwhelming, and I think I have found a keeper in this one.
Temptation Episode 2
Unlike it's premier, the second episode of "Temptation" delved deeply into the heart of the characters' issues and made for a much more interesting watch. It seems like the show was trying to bypass the setup as quickly as possible. Melodramas garner interest because of the moral dilemmas they inevitably posed, the the dilemmas in this show are worth exploring.

Seok-hoon chooses to accept Se-young's proposal, which hinted at strong sexual implications that never played out. But the betrayal is still felt strongly by his wife, Hong-joo, who struggles to cope with his decision. It's a wicked dilemma because she nearly committed suicide for money, driving him to desperately choose money over pride and his body. Choices made in such a high state of anxiety are always dubious. Se-young's motivation behind her offer was a twisted curiosity - could she shake the seemingly stable marriage? It's sick, but morbidly fascinating. And, like men do in wartime, Se-young and Seok-hoon bond despite themselves due to stress. It's a bond that should not form, and will be the basis for the rocky relationship development in the show.
Concerning Hong-joo, she finds herself swept up in her grief over her husband's betrayal despite understanding his motivations. She allows herself to be persuaded by Min-woo to help him with his son, Roy, who he has secreted away at a family vacation home. Had she not been so distressed, she may not have involved herself in another family's issues. But such is the wily effect of misery on a person's mental faculties.

Min-woo is covering up for his tendency to live as he wishes in spite of having a family who he is obligated to. He is the most childish of the four adults, shirking responsibility much like a hormonal teenager. He is still on his way to becoming an engaging character. Right now he is very reactionary.
It is Se-young who is the center of the show's intrigue. She is the character who purposefully plays mind games to alleviate her own pain. She also gets caught in the trap she set by falling for Seok-hoon's earnest efforts to earn the money she bribed him with and his affections for his wife. Despite her cold, practical nature, she opens up to Seok-hoon, and that action draws him towards her as well. Watching the relationships grow in such a logical way makes sense even though the relationships themselves violate almost every culture's moral values.

temptation

Temptation Episode 1
Temptation E01.avi_000068868The four leads arrive at the airport at the same time, although they’re riding different modes of transport: Cha Suk-hoon (Kwon Sang-woo) and his wife Na Hong-joo (Park Ha-sun) with the airport bus while Yoo Se-young (Choi Ji-woo) and Kang Min-woo (Lee Jung-jin) with their respective expensive cars. They all board the same plane and Se-young isn’t too thrilled to see Min-woo there. The plane is bound for Hong Kong and the quartet have their own reasons. Se-young is traveling for her business but there’s something else weighing on her mind: she might not be able to have children because of a cyst in her uterus.
Temptation E01.avi_000544177Suk-hoon and Hong-joo seem happy on their journey there, but the reality isn’t that beautiful: Suk-hoon’s company is dealing with embezzlement thanks to his business partner and they’re on the verge of bankruptcy. They’re going to Kong Kong since the partner suddenly contacts Suk-hoon, asking him to come over and bring Hong-joo along to have fun. Oooo…kay. Oh, and Suk-hoon seems to recognize Se-young too. As for Min-woo, he recently had his third daughter and his mother is bitching complaining about it since his family lacks male heirs. His wife Han Ji-sun (Yoon Ah-jung) tells him that she won’t be able to conceive anymore but his mother insists on getting her to try again one more time (urgh, what a monstrous MIL). He’s going to Hong Kong after receiving a brochure of a bar from someone.
Temptation E01.avi_000733933Se-young and Min-woo seems to be rivals in business since she finds out that he’s at Hong Kong not because of the hotel she’s trying to get her hands on. Meanwhile, Suk-hoon’s dearest friend is nowhere to be seen at the airport although the guy promised to pick him up and he heads down to the friend’s house. The neighbour tells Suk-hoon and Hong-joo to go to the police station and they find out why: that friend has committed suicide. He left several things behind for Suk-hoon, including a note apologizing to him because he couldn’t find the money needed to revive their company.
Temptation E01.avi_001002502Min-woo goes straight to the bar: Moon River Bar, where he reminisces the time he spent there with his (secret?) girlfriend, Jenny (Miss A’s Fei). She sings at the bar and their rendezvous seem to happen for quite some time already. He asks Jenny’s friend about her but he finds out that the poor girl has passed away due to breast cancer. That friend also thinks that Min-woo should meet someone who stayed beside Jenny during her last moments on Earth: their son, Roy. Well, at least Min-woo’s got a son now. He goes back to the hotel and runs into Se-young, who’s sending off the hotel investors. Spending some time with Min-woo is probably the last thing she has on her mind but Se-young becomes interested when he mentions about a valuable information regarding the hotel owner.
Temptation E01.avi_001167367Suk-hoon and Hong-joo are still moping over the sudden turn of events on the beach, sighing that they won’t be able to recover easily from the blow: not just losing money, Suk-hoon might be jailed as a result of the embezzlement. Yikes. He promises that he won’t let Hong-joo’s father loses his house too (since that’s the thing she’s most scared at the moment..oh wait, second thing, since she hates the thought of sending Suk-hoon to jail). Lucky for them, the friend left something in a sock: a money roll of medium thickness, like an early Christmas present! Instead of saving the money, Hong-joo decides to do what the friend suggested: stay at the best hotel, eat the most expensive food, and go shopping. Live the dream before facing the ugly truth back in Korea.
Temptation E01.avi_001390890Min-woo is (half-)bragging about the son he recently got but Se-young is not interested in hearing such thing. She suggests that he pays a hefty amount of money to the guardian and stay out of it. Cold response but Min-woo knows that’s the reason why he ran away before, when he was trying to woo her. So, were they an item back then? Ohhhh. She takes her leave and Min-woo gives her one wise advice:
“Life is like a multiplication table. No matter what kind of man or love you have, if you’re a zero, then there will be no product at all.”
Temptation E01.avi_001627160Hong-joo calls home but keeps the whole thing a secret from her family: brother Na Hong-kyu (Lee Jung-shin) and father Na Shi-chan (Choi Il-hwa). She sees the list of debts made by Suk-hoon and she makes up her mind about something. The next day, they decide to go sightseeing around the city. Suk-hoon sees Se-young on their way out but he doesn’t tell Hong-joo anything. They look so happy, and the food makes me hungry. Hong-joo keeps staring at a pair of glittery shoes but sadly, the shoes are already reserved by someone. Suk-hoon goes pleading the staff…and he lies that Hong-joo is dying. LOL. The staff tells Hong-joo not to give up, to the clueless woman’s surprise. HAHAHA! Well, he’s technically right since that shoes might be the last pair she can afford to buy.
Temptation E01.avi_002035502Min-woo goes to meet his son Roy for the first time and the boy (hey, it’s Seo Eun-gi’s brother in Nice Guy!) turns out to be decent in Korean. Min-woo is glad to see Roy (he has me in stitches at “I am your father.”) and apologizes that he comes a little too late. He brings Roy together with him. As for Suk-hoon and Hong-joo, they go to a lavish restaurant, where Se-young is dealing with the hotel owner who turns out to be someone doing shady investments behind the hotel business. The owner drops down in shock when Se-young is about to leave. Hong-joo and Suk-hoon approach the crowd witnessing the incident and Hong-joo offers her help since she’s a nurse. Suk-hoon assists her (Hehe, Kwon Sang-woo was a doctor in his last drama) and Se-young finally gets a proper glimpse of his face. He actually went for an interview at her company before and she recognizes him. The situation is resolved and Se-young takes her leave. She goes to the store and finds out that the shoes she reserved had been bought by someone else. Se-young remarks that it is indeed a strange day for her.
Temptation E01.avi_002182449Roy is brought to the hotel and Min-woo buys so many things for him, but the boy prefers the crayon and the drawing block over the video games. The boy’s tummy starts grumbling and Min-woo chuckles, happy to give his son a spaghetti treat. Roy begins to loosen up a bit, smiling at him but Min-woo receives a call from his wife. He lies to her (I think this is a common occurrence), saying that he’s meeting with clients. His little daughters Yoon-ah and Song-ah ask for presents while Ji-sun wants him to explain her situation to his mother. Even with the complicated issue in his life, Min-woo is still capable of being distracted by Hong-joo when she’s entering the restaurant. I don’t blame him since Park Ha-sun is one gorgeous woman, but he might have a penchant for beauties although his wife is nagging at him. Well, even Suk-hoon can’t take his eyes off his wife! Hong-joo sees Roy in his urge to go to the toilet and she points out the direction when the boy turns down her offer to bring him there.
Temptation E01.avi_002521988Se-young is back in her room and her attorney, Choi Suk-gi (Joo Jin-mo, Ji-yeon’s boss inWitch’s Romance) reports to her about the hotel owner’s condition. She decides to play tug of war to raise the price of the deal and plans to keep the dirty money in an account overseas. Attorney Choi advises her to get some rest during her four-day vacation and takes his leave, as Se-young starts to think about her health problem again. She decides that it’s not worth brooding about and goes out of her room. Meanwhile, Hong-joo is the one brooding about her family’s problems while drinking in the night view of Hong Kong. Suk-hoon tries to cheer her up but she doesn’t want to think about the problem yet. At that moment, she just want to enjoy their time there…*cue sexy moments*
Temptation E01.avi_002700800Roy wakes up from his sleep in sweat, calling or his mother. Min-woo is sleeping soundly and the boy puts on his clothes while looking at his father. Hong-joo is still awake, caressing Suk-hoon’s face before leaving the room. She stumbles on her way out, crying by herself and suddenly, Roy approaches her, asking where he should go to take a bus. Luckily, Min-woo realizes that his son is missing and finds him together with Hong-joo. Aww, the poor boy is planning to go to his aunt since he’s so scared after having a bad dream. Hong-joo teaches him a way to wake up from his nightmare before walking away. Min-woo sings him a lullaby and Roy notices that it’s also the same song his mother used to sing for him.
Temptation E01.avi_003016216Hong-joo is walking towards the sea and it’s now clear that she intends to commit suicide. She left a note for Suk-hoon, telling him that her insurance policy will be able to save him. Run run run to save your wife! Se-young happens to walk along the shore and finds Hong-joo’s shoes she left behind. She looks around and sees Hong-joo in the sea, going deeper and deeper. Se-young manages to drag the suicidal woman onshore and slaps Hong-joo to knock some sense into her. They retreat to Se-young’s room and Se-young can figure out why she tries to kill herself. Suk-hoon arrives and picks his wife up while thanking Se-young again and again for saving his wife. Se-young is left alone…and that smirk plastered on her face is scary. Is she getting funny ideas because of those two?
Temptation E01.avi_003444277Hong-joo feels guilty for her action but Suk-hoon doesn’t blame her; he just want her to think their time in Hong Kong as a dream. As for Se-young, she’s digging up about Suk-hoon’s business and his problems when she realizes that Hong-joo left behind her shoes. She tries the shoes on..and they fit her perfectly. Suk-hoon then receives a call from Se-young, asking for him to fetch Hong-joo’s shoes but actually, she wants to tell him an offer: she will pay him one million for four days of his life.
Temptation E01.avi_003505638*
Crazy deal? This might be one of the craziest I’ve ever heard. It’s too early to stay anything but for now, I’m staying for the pretty and the adorable kids. Choi Ji-woo is fabulous and I’m glad to see her prettied up like a doll in here compared to her stoic character in The Suspicious Housekeeper. Kwon Sang-woo is okay so far and the last time I saw him in a drama was for Cinderella Man. Park Ha-sun is gorgeous and Lee Jung-jin is smoldering hot. Visually, the drama is good enough but the story might not be everyone’s cup of tea.
